Mr Ash Prabhudesai is a Consultant Colorectal, Laparoscopic & General Surgeon at The Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals, where he has a varied General and Colorectal surgical practice. He is the Clinical Lead for the Department of Surgery at Hillingdon Hospital.He is a core member of the Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Team at the Hillingdon Hospital.He is also Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Imperial College School of Medicine, London.
He sees private patients at his clinics at the Clementine Churchill Hospital, Harrow, The Bishops Wood Hospital, Northwood, and The BMI Syon Clinic, Brentford. He is recognised by all major private healthcare providers.
He is an accredited laparoscopic colorectal surgeon (keyhole or minimally invasive surgery for disorders of the bowel). His main interests are minimally invasive surgery for bowel disorders, including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and diverticular disease. Mr Prabhudesai also offers minimally invasive surgery for abdominal wall hernias and gall bladder disease.
He enjoys teaching both in the operating theatres and outside. He has presented at various national and international meetings.
